Designed to increase hook-up success on virtually all pelagic game fishing species, Hypertension lures consist of 3 components working in unison to create the most advanced skirted trolling lure on the market.

The lures and their hookset operate exactly the same as a traditional setups, with provision for increased functionality upon fish strike.

Unlike most other 3D printed lures on the market, our heads are printed with the high quality polyurethane, making them equal to, if not more durable than traditional resin lures.

3D manufacturing provides improved dimensional accuracy for consistent lure action in the water and the ability to create complex internal leading allowing for development our patent pending curling hookset.

How to rig Hypertension lures

  • HOOKSHIFT

    Hypertension's hookshift is designed to optimise hook exposure through its innovative rigid hookset shaping. This unique design maintains flexibility for optimum lure action, however curls into a rigid state upon fish strike—maximising hook-up potential. If the lure is released, the hookset automatically returns to its flexible state, allowing the lure to keep swimming, ready for the next bite.

  • CONTROL SLEEVES

    In addition to their provision of the hooskshift function, Control Sleeves offer further improvement in lure function by:

    1. Simplifying rigging via the elimination of a need to heat shrink components,
    2. serving as extreme line protection at the mouth of the fish which is crucial during prolonged fights.

    High durability of the sleeves means you can often catch many fish with a single sleeve. Steel trace still required for fish with razor-edge teeth.

    Control Sleeves have been designed to fit both needle and ring-eye hooks.

  • JET CONTROL

    Hyper-Inserts allow for precise On/Off control of the lure head. This provides anglers with a choice of settings based on their preferences for running position, water conditions, and desired lure action. Simply rotate the Hyper-Insert to your preferred position. Hyper-Inserts are easy to remove for cleaning and replacement if needed.

    Note: Due to size constraints, not all head profiles incorporate jets.
